Details: Highlights from the 2000 Formula One season, which saw two time World Champion Mika Hakkinen of McLaren keeping arch rival Ferrari's Michael Schumacher under constant pressure as he tried for a record third successive Championship. Meanwhile, twenty-year old Brit Jenson Button made an exciting debut for Williams BMW, while Pedro de la Rose and Jarno Trulli made names for themselves under the banners of Arrows and Jordan, respectively. Schumacher ultimately triumphed over Hakkinen, for Ferrari's first Championship in over 10 years, but it was the latter who impressed all with his gentlemanly attitude following defeat.
