Kerry, where he still lives. He has taught in the local national school, where he was the principal teacher. He is the author of more than thirty books, including collections of poetry in English and in Irish. The recently published House Don't Fall On Me is his translation of Maidhc Dainín Ó Sé's memoir A Thig Ná Tit Orm. His translations from the Irish are also available in Poems I Wish Id Written. His most recent work is a children's book entitled Really Rotten Rhymes.
