It was pleasing to see Craig Levein play his first full ninety minutes of first-team football, and the reserve team won 4-1 at Ibrox with a hat-trick from Alan Moore. Owing to Brian McClair joining Manchester United there was a vote to appoint a new Chairman of the Professional Footballers Union in Scotland, and it has gone to John Colquhoun. 'The match against Aberdeen is going to be most competitive as they are the only unbeaten team in the Premier Division this season.'
